Welcome to Early Years
Early Years is the foundational stage for toddlers aged 1 to 5 years to learn and grow. At Fairview School, we understand that preschool is often a child’s first social experience outside of his or her circle of friends and family and so we strive to leave the right impression as they learn social and emotional skills, gaining the confidence to succeed in elementary school.
We value the diversity children bring to our school looking at their ethnic, racial, linguistic, and developmental background. We offer an excellent environment for our children to explore, play, learn and grow around their peers. Our very warm, highly motivated and caring teachers are committed to supporting each child to attain their potential, and provide children with engaging learning experiences. Our quest to entrench qualitative education and effective monitoring of the academic, social and emotional progress made by the child is further reinforced with a low pupil to teacher ratio, which we insist at Fairview School
Our Approach
We implement the “Learning through Play” approach in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.
We understand the significance of our responsibility in caring for children, and the high level of trust parents place in us when leaving their child in our care. In view of this, we have a set of security protocols in place when children arrive for studies in the morning and when they leave. As a follow up to this, we have CCTV cameras in all the classes and walk areas too and these are being manned by seasoned professionals. Our playground is very spacious to allow our children have the experience of a lifetime playing alongside their peer
