Fairview Secondary School officially opened on 9th September 2019 at our present location: Plot 4674, Edwin Clark Crescent Off Nasir El’Rufai Drive, Asokoro New Extension, Guzape, Abuja.

A school that is described by itself, that is truly holistic. A school that is evolving and dynamic, yet has her own landmark and is a reference point for other schools and workplaces.
Ethos of our School
Our belief is that our school will nurture the innate abilities of each learner to become outstanding global citizens through providing the stimulating environment and challenging opportunities, appropriately.
The school commenced with four students and twelve members of staff, to cover all subjects.
The Pioneer Principal is Ms Ngozi Onwuchekwa, M.Ed. B.Sc.(Hons)
The Proprietress and School Director is Mrs Elizabeth Nwankwo
Fairview Secondary School is an international secular, co-educational institution, open to all learners of all races, cultural and religious orientation. We operate the integrated Nigerian-British Curriculum, we are a day school, and the secondary arm of the larger Fairview School.
Orientation held on day one of school, day two was a recap of day one activities and introduction into the lessons and schedules of the secondary school. On day three, lessons commenced in earnest and has since been going on according to the academic calendar.
Clubs and societies commenced in the second week of term; subsequent activities and school events are as captured in our newsletters.

Pastoral Care of our students is another advantage as we have close monitoring of our students on a daily and weekly basis, there is an outline followed, the principal and school counsellor head this team.
Also, every child is assigned a mentor for academic and supporting attributes such as behavioural and social development, the mentor and mentee meet on a weekly basis and the reports are documented and sent to the principal.
The school counsellor has a schedule for meeting each student at the beginning of each term and at the resumption from mid-term break. The students can equally on their own schedule a meeting with the counsellor or principal whenever they have a need to.

If music be the food for the soul, play on.
Music touches all domains of development of skill and acquisition of knowledge. In music club we create music, perform music and train students on musical instruments, voicing and AIE (African Instrumental Ensemble) etc.
